Our space is a large (~400 sq. ft.) , finished room with high ceilings, finished wood flooring, plenty of power outlets, and white walls, beauty mirror / makeup area, etc.
We will help you pick out equipment you need and create discounted packages tailed to your shoot. That you will not be charged for anything you’re not using and we can keep the costs down for you.
You’re more than welcome to bring your own equipment and use our space as is, or with whatever addons you might be missing to get your shoot done.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
ADD ONS
We can provide any and all necessary equipment required for a photo or video shoot. We are a full fledged production company and have professional gear we can rent you for your shoot.
CREW / HELP
We have in house, professional photographers, videographers, directors, editors, etc. that work as freelancers and we’re always open to helping out on projects. Please reach out to us well in advance if you need help and we can go over the rates, etc.
EXTRA TIME DAY OF
If you need more time for your shoot on the day off / during your shoot, please let us know and we’ll accommodate. Unless there’s another rental / scheduling conflict, we can keep the studio open for you to finish your shoot. We’ll update the invoice after the shoot.
BACKDROPS
We have 2 backdrops, white and grey, that are included in the rental. The backdrops are 10ft paper backdrops on a pulley system and roll out onto the floor. We have smaller (6ft and 4ft) backdrops in white, grey, light blue, magenta.
LOAD IN/BREAKDOWN
Please make sure you account for you the time needed to load in, set up, break down, load out in your reservation. Please make sure you arrive ON TIME. We allow up to 15 minutes on each side of the rental (if you arrive early, leave late). Anything outside 15 minutes will result in a charge for following the rental.
We reserve the right to end a shoot after the agreed upon time in case of emergency or another rental starting right after.
PARKING
There’s one parking spot right in front of the studio that’s sometimes free. There’s also a load in/out spot in the front (15 min max). If they’re free, you can park there for the duration of your shoot. Otherwise, there’s plenty of FREE 2 Hour parking spots up and down Highland Ave.
FILM SHOP / STUDIO SPACE
The studio is in the same space as a film shop for our film lab Lumentation. We ask that you keep your shoot confined to the studio space. We have a privacy curtain separating the two spaces and you’ll have 100% privacy in the studio space. There may be customers in the film shop from time to time during normal business hours.

USING OUR EQUIPMENT
We provide lights, modifiers, grip gear, etc. for free. We do ask that the equipment is handled by someone with experience to make sure we keep you and our space safe. There will ALWAYS be a staff member present during your rental and they can give you a quick rundown of the equipment.
*If you’ll be using our equipment, we ask that you have experience handling same or similar gear. If you don’t have experience, a staff member will help out and handle the equipment. We want to make sure you and our space/gear are safe throughout the shoot and cannot make exceptions. *
COVID
Masks are not mandatory. All of us are still taking COVID seriously and we wipe the studio down after rentals, wear masks inside, etc.
OVERTIME
Per Peerspace's policy, overtime will be billed in half-hour increments. The space must be vacated and all items brought into the space must be removed by the end time of your booking reservation. Overtime will be billed in half-hour increments at a rate of 1.5 times our stated hourly rate.
CLEANING / DAMAGES
Cleaning fee is included in the hourly rate, although guests are expected to leave the space in the same condition as they found it in. Guests must respect the space and we ask/appreciate that guests tidy up after themselves. Guest must remove any equipment or rentals you bring in, and you should factor this setup and teardown time in your booking hours.
Please take great care of our space. No nails, screws, staples or penetrating items should be used on our walls. Any tape or gummed backing materials must be properly removed. No confetti or glitter. Damages (walls, floors, furniture, etc) will be billed to the credit card on file with Peerspace.
SOUND SECURITY
For video shoots, we cannot guarantee sound security for the space. We are located in a residential building and cannot control upstairs neighbors, street noise, etc. While we have had lots of productions film interviews here, we cannot guarantee that there won’t be interruptions.
MISCELLANEOUS
There is no smoking allowed in the space. No glitter or confetti.
Drinking is allowed for those 21 and over. Please let us know in advance if you plan on bringing alcohol.
There’s a bathroom in the studio.
Please make sure you don't arrive too early and leave at the time of your rental's end.
SECURITY CAMERAS
We have security cameras running in all areas of our studio for safety reasons. We check them periodically to make sure rules are being followed. If you want COMPLETE privacy, please let us know and we’ll unplug the camera in the studio space.
